Paviland Cave Walk - 15/02
An adventurous hike to try to make it to the historical cave of Paviland
Service Description
Setting off at 1pm from Pilton Green (What3Words ///incisions.villager.snowmen), we head for the cliffs (about 40 mins walk), where we will traverse through a valley down to the foot of the cliffs. Here, some might choose to scramble up to get inside Paviland cave. This walk is a lot less accessible than our usual community walks, as the path involves a fair bit of scrambling over rocks and navigating rock pools. If this walk is not suitable for you, please know that our next one will be much more accessible. In attending one of our community walks, you must take responsibility for your own safety. Our walk should be finished by around 3pm, and hopefully we will get a chance to sit down for a cuppa before making our way back. If you don't have access to your own transport please get in touch as we may be able to arrange a lift share - and if you can lift share please do, as parking is limited at this spot. An email will be sent with a google map pin before the event. This is a completely FREE event made possible by those who attend events and use our services and everyone is welcome to attend. This walk isn't so suitable for dogs/children due to the challenging nature of the terrain.
Cancellation Policy
Please read prior to booking; refund policy varies depending on the service booked. Refund available for up to 14 days prior to public events that are up to one day long (e.g. day retreat, yoga & brunch, morning/afternoon workshops, mini-retreats etc.). For events longer than one day: the deposit is non-refundable. If a client decides to cancel a booking, they must email as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the event are non-refundable. Cancellations made prior to 12 weeks before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount due, those made 8 weeks in advance of the event will be eligible for 25% refund of the total amount due. Please note that as deposits are not refundable, any bookings where the deposit amounts to more than 50% will not receive the deposit and the amount refunded may result to less than 50% if cancelled at least 12 weeks in advance. If an event is cancelled on Salt & Light Retreat's behalf, a full refund will be provided.
